Calling all cricket teams in Finland! Nepal Cricket Club Ry - E8848 extends a warm invitation to participate in the thrilling ninth edition of the SevenZer League.-" RAVINTOLA SAURAHA SEVENZER LEAGUE CRICKET-2023."
Established in 2014, the SevenZer League has swiftly become the most exciting cricketing event in Finland. Held annually, this thrilling tournament adopts a unique format that truly sets it apart. As the name suggests, each match in the SevenZer League features 7 overs per side and is played with 7 players per team. This condensed format promises an unforgettable cricketing experience and an action-packed matches, with teams battling it out to emerge victorious.
Crichunters Koivukyla-CHAMPIONS 2022- is automatically entered to the SLC 2023.
Note: We urge all participating teams to play with safety and use appropriate equipment. While the organizer will provide first aid for minor injuries, they will not be liable for any injuries sustained during the tournament.. All participating players must be suomisport licensed.

The SevenZer League is played with a Hard-tennis ball. Nine teams will compete, divided into three groups. Each team will play two games during the league stage. The top team from each group will advance to the knockout stage. Additionally, the team with the highest Net Run Rate (NRR) among the six losing teams will also qualify for the knockout stage. Incase of more than 9 entries, we will accommodate a different fixture.
Team Requirements:
- Each team must have a minimum of seven players to participate.
- Teams are required to submit a maximum of 11 players' list to the organizer 3 days before the event day.
- Clubs may have as many players as they wish, and unassigned players can join any team in the league.
- All participating players must hold a valid suomisport license.
Regardless of nationality boundaries, any team can participate the tournament. Team selection is entirely based on first come first service principle, therefore do not wait for the deadline, grab your place by paying the entry fee asap.

The scoring is done via #CRICCLUBS . All the match updates will be shared on the event page, FB and club website.

RULES:
- FCA Suomi Sport Tennisball License is mandatory; Contact the organizing team for license registration.
- Each team should field a maximum of 7 players during an innings, with only 3 players allowed on the leg side.
- The new batsman must enter the ground within 70 seconds after the dismissal of a wicket.
- There will be a 7-minute innings break between matches.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited within the innings break and within a 50-meter radius of the ground or scoring premises.
- Smokers can use a designated area during their break time when they are not playing.
- Abusive language and aggressive behavior are strictly prohibited; Umpires may charge further penalty runs for misconduct during the game.
- Umpires have the authority to ban players or teams for misbehavior, but the final decision lies with the organizer.
- Bowlers are allowed to bowl a maximum of 2 overs, with one bowler allowed to bowl 3 overs; the third over must be after the fifth over.
- Wide and No balls cost 2 runs and are re-bowled.
- Balls pitched or edged outside of the mat are deemed as No balls and cost 2 runs; there is no free hit.
- All No balls except those outside of the mat result in a free-hit, but two beamers in an innings will eliminate the bowler from bowling further.
- The last man can also bat, and the 6th wicket is the runner.
- Umpire decisions should be strictly followed, and discussions with umpires are not allowed.
- LBW rules apply with the exception that the first LBW case is given as a warning, while the second case makes the batsman out.
- Standard cricketing rules are applied throughout the tournament.
- In case of disputes or misconduct, the decision of the organizing committee should be strictly followed.
- Umpires will provide further explanations of the rules on the game day.
- Each club is responsible for arranging water bottles for their team and should fetch water from the changing room.
’’’’’’’’’’’Note: If weather or any other factor interrupts the tournament, it will be shifted to another viable day, Scoring and Umpiring duties will be sorted by the organizers. A representative from each club should sit aside the scorer for name info.
