✔ Discipline & Fair Play ▼
- Punctuality and discipline are highly valued.
- All teams must be at the ground at least 20 minutes before their scheduled match.
- Any misconduct, abuse of officials, unsportsmanlike behavior, or actions that bring the tournament into disrepute may result in immediate disqualification and exclusion from future editions.
- Entry fees are non-refundable in the event of disqualification.
⚖️ Umpires' Decisions & Disputes ▼
- Umpires' decisions are final and must be respected by all players and officials.
- Any dispute must be raised only by the team captain.
- Tournament organizers will consult with the umpires before issuing a final decision.
- Abuse or intimidation of umpires or organizers will not be tolerated.
👥 Team & Fielding ▼
- Maximum 7 players may be on the field at any time.
- Only 3 fielders are permitted on the leg side.
- Teams are encouraged to wear matching jerseys. Sporting attire is mandatory — jeans, casual wear, and slippers are not permitted.
Substitution Rules
- Umpire Approval Required
All substitutions require the prior approval of the umpires. - Captain's Responsibility
The team captain must notify both umpires and obtain approval before a substitute player enters the field. - Unauthorized Substitution
If a substitute enters the field without the umpires' approval:- A 5-run penalty will be awarded to the opposing team.
- Repeated violations may result in additional disciplinary action, including forfeiture of the current match and/or disqualification from participating in the tournament the following year.
- Role of Substitute Fielders
Substitute players may field only. They are not permitted to bat, bowl, or act as wicketkeeper unless otherwise permitted under the tournament's playing conditions. - Substitution Limit
- Each team may use a maximum of two (2) substitute players per match.
- The names of all potential substitute players must be submitted to the tournament officials before the toss.
- Only players included on the pre-submitted substitute list are eligible to be used as substitutes during the match.

- 23 minutes per innings.
- 7-minute innings break.
🏟 Tournament Structure ▼
League Round
- 11 teams compete in a single league — no groups.
- Match pairings are determined by a drawing of lots.
- Each team plays 2 matches in the league round.
- The top 6 teams by points qualify for the knockout stage.
- Points: 2 for a win · 1 for a tie / no result · 0 for a loss.
Knockout Round
- 1st and 2nd place receive a direct bye to the Semi Finals.
- Quarter Finals (2 matches):
- QF 1 — 3rd Place vs 6th Place
- QF 2 — 4th Place vs 5th Place
- Semi Finals (2 matches):
- SF 1 — 1st Place vs QF1 Winner
- SF 2 — 2nd Place vs QF2 Winner
- Final: SF1 Winner vs SF2 Winner 🏆
📊 Points, NRR & Tiebreakers ▼
NRR is automatically calculated by the scoring app. It is crucial whenever teams finish on equal points.
Tiebreaker Order
- Most wins in the league round.
- Higher Net Run Rate (NRR) — automatically calculated by the scoring app.
- If NRR is also equal, the following tiebreakers are applied in order:
- Most boundaries scored — 4s and 6s combined (total count, not separately) in the league round.
- Head-to-head result — if the tied teams played each other in the league, the winner of that match proceeds.
- Super Over — if still tied after all above criteria, the teams play a Super Over to decide qualification.
* In the event of a No Result, the match is excluded from NRR calculations for both teams.
🎯 Bowling Rules ▼
- Maximum 2 overs per bowler.
- A bowler may bowl a 3rd over only after the completion of the 5th over of the innings.
- A bowler cannot bowl three consecutive overs.
🟡 No-Balls, Wides & Extras ▼
- Every No-Ball or Wide awards 2 runs and must be re-bowled.
- A delivery pitching outside the mat is a No-Ball and is a Free Hit.
- A ball passing above the batter's head is a No-Ball + Free Hit.
- A full toss above waist height is a No-Ball + Free Hit.
- Byes and Leg Byes will be counted as extras.
⚠️ Warnings & Penalties ▼
- LBW Appeals: First valid LBW appeal → warning; second valid LBW → batter is out.
- A bowler delivering two beamers in an innings will be prohibited from bowling for the remainder of that match.
- The organizers reserve the right to impose additional penalties for repeated breaches.
🏏 Batting Rules ▼
- A new batter must be ready to take guard within 70 seconds.
- Last-man batting is permitted with a runner.
- Free Hit applies to all No-Balls.
🌧 Rain Delay & Abandoned Matches ▼
- No points will be shared due to rain or weather interruptions.
- If a match cannot be completed due to rain or unsafe conditions, it will be rescheduled to another day.
- Tournament organizers will communicate the new date and time as soon as possible.
- The organizers' decision regarding rescheduling is final.
ℹ️ General Rules ▼
- Standard Laws of Cricket apply unless modified by these tournament rules.
- Tournament organizers and umpires may announce additional playing conditions before the start of any match if necessary.
🚭 Smoking Policy ▼
- Smoking is strictly prohibited within 50 meters of the playing area.
- A designated smoking area will be available near the shed.
- Please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly and help keep the venue clean.
