The exhilarating saga of SevenZer League Cricket reached its zenith with the successful conclusion of its 9th edition. Titled "Ravintola Sauraha SevenZer League Cricket 2023," this edition proved to be a thrilling spectacle, featuring the dynamic participation of 7 teams representing different nationalities. Amidst the short notice, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants and sponsors who contributed to the event's success.
The 9th edition was proudly sponsored by "Ravintola Sauraha, Oulu," under the patronage of Mr. Bishnu Sharma, while also acknowledging the presence of our 2022 sponsor, "Ravintola Nepal Palace" from Espoo, represented by Mr. Nabin Bhattarai at the awards ceremony.
MAGNIFICENT 7 emerged as the true giants of the league, maintaining an undefeated streak. In a gripping final showdown against P Gang, MAG 7's decision to bat after winning the toss resulted in a score of 73/5 in 7 overs, due to Prajwal's exceptional bowling performance.
Despite P Gang's promising debut and their pursuit of the maiden SevenZer title, destiny had other plans. MAG 7 displayed a masterful bowling effort, restricting P Gang to a mere 45/4 and securing victory with a substantial 28-run margin. Cliff's impressive bowling figures, claiming 3 key wickets and conceding just 13 runs in 2 overs, stood as a highlight. Azim and Adnan complemented the effort with equally reliable bowling spells.
